Engineering and design activities in Akana constitute the most important and central business steps and are at the basis of our company’s value creation mechanism. Based on this; It is structured in a way that does not compromise quality in design and continuous improvement processes are defined.

In Akana Engineering, our design quality activities are in accordance with AS9100: 2018 standard, creating all stages in the process from design inputs to design outputs, and create verification and validation activities. In this process, which starts by making a design definition as a result of detailed analysis of customer needs, expectations, project / product technical requirements or specifications as design inputs, defined processes and documentation are followed up to the final stage of design verification and implementation.

Our quality activities in production consist of three stages that complement each other and cover the entire production process with the zero defect principle:

In particular, the approved supplier lists of the main companies in the defense industry are taken into consideration, and diversification and continuity in the supply chain is aimed by conducting supplier management within our own organization. Our main objectives, which also show the efficiency of our supply management, are:
