Design
Akana Engineering was established in 1990 as an engineering design office and to date, engineering and design activities have constituted the main backbone and main source of added value of our organization. The first Technopolis office was opened in 2008, it gained the status of an R&D center in 2016, and our center, which was designed and built entirely as an R&D center is planned to be opened in 2021. Currently, 35 valuable researchers work in our R&D center and they constitute approximately 30% of our total team.
Although mechanical design comes first in Akana, it is accepted that engineering is a set of interconnected disciplines and solutions are produced by approaching the systems undertaken from different disciplines, especially electronics, software, chemical and metallurgical engineering.
