What we offer our employees
Supplementary health insurance
In addition to all statutory rights, private supplementary health insurance for all staff, paid by the company.
Annual leave
14 working days up to 5 years, 20 days for 5–15 years, 26 days after 15 years.
Social activities
Group dinners, bowling, diving and ski trips organised with employee input and HR coordination, with financial support.
Performance evaluation
Annually, by the direct supervisor, based on the job description, success rate and jointly set objectives.
Regular pay
Salaries are paid on the 5th of each month; overtime is paid together with the salary.
Overtime
All rights under the Labour Law are provided; meals and transport are covered during overtime.
Working hours
Generally 08:00 – 18:00; shift system in production depending on workload.
Meals & breaks
Two 15-minute tea breaks and a 30-minute lunch break daily; meals served according to a monthly menu.

Internship Programme
Internships at Akana
During the summer term, we offer internships to 3rd- and 4th-year students with a GPA of 2.00 or above who are studying in one of the four-year programmes below and have a compulsory internship. Places are limited and set each year.
